[Rarity is just trotting along towards the town, heading in to go get some fabric for her latest creation! She would just wish it up, but she wants to go look at the store first ...

Either way, she's looking fab as usual, and humming to herself .. when she kind of spots this monstrosity running around. ... Okay, it's kind of hard not to spot this. But oh my god that is a huge dragon and it is running around being scary SHRIIIEEEEKIIING SO LOUDLY NOW]

[Spike's head turns at the sound of the shriek, before he starts heading towards her. He's not sure why, but he wants her. A tiny part of his brain is telling him she's IMPORTANT.

[It might also be all the shiny things she's decked herself out in, but .... yikes. This is not looking good. She's just going to ..... shriek again and try to outrun him. .... And possibly hide behind the nearest rock]

[The shinies don't hurt, either. Delicious shinies.

He stomps on over, craning his looong neck over the rock to peer at her.

Hey Rarity, haaaay]

[a yelp! and then she's waving a hoof at him]

Back away, you foul beast! Leave me be!!

[His tail coils over to wrap around her, pulling her up to his eye level. He squuuuints at her, before deeming her and her jewels a worthy prize, starting to stomp back to the castle and his hoard]

[she's leaning as far away from him as possible when he's looking at her ... but when she sees that he's starting to stomp away, the complaining/yelling starts]

What are you doing?! Let me down this instant!! --Where are you taking me?!

[Uh oh, complaining leads to whining and whining leads to PAIN. He quickens his pace a little, not bothering to answer her.

But hey, he seems to have made himself a nice little home in those caves near the castle, maybe he's taking you THERE, girl]

Are you even listening to me?! [indignant huff! pinkie pie clearly hadn't met this dragon, otherwise she'd dislike them too!] I said, put me down right now!

[Spike pauses to growl at her softly, rolling his eyes a bit. Woman HUSH he's trying to be an awesome dragon here]

Oh, don't you growl at me, mister! You don't just swoop out of nowhere and grab a lady so impolitely!

[Spike kind of...stares for a moment. What is even going on? Is the tiny pony...yelling at him?

The hell is that even.

Questioning sound]

Haven't you ever heard of manners before?? You oughtn't touch a lady without getting her permission first! And I, as you can clearly see, am a lady!

[Spike groans, moving his claws to mimick a never-stopping-mouth, before plucking one of her shiny gems off her, peering at it.

Remember the gems. The gems make it worth it]

--Excuse me, dragon! Those are mine! You can't have them!

[struggling in his grip, now. LET GOOO 8(]

[He seems not to care, in fact, he takes a few more off her, or rather, he tries. STOP WRIGGLING. He growls at her, his tail tightening it's grip around her]

[oh no! that is too tight, Spike! she's letting out a sound of distress]

Oh -- ! Ouch!!

[Spike instantly lessens his grip, suddenly feeling concern for the noisy thing.

His growl is a little unsure now. Why is she making him feel feelings?!]

[ALL OF THE FEELS, SPIKE. she lets out a relieved sigh, before looking up at him]

See? Now, was that so hard?

[Spike shifts on his haunches, trying to deal with all this confusion.

He makes a small crooning sound. Yes actually, it was, loud unicorn thing]

Well, I suppose everypony has to start somewhere ...

[a sigh, and she'll toss her hair] Now, how about letting me down, as I've asked you to several times, and nicely at that!

[Spike, growls a little at that. But NO, he found you and your shinies and now your HIS :(]

And no growling! It's unbecoming of a gentleman!

[Spike rumbles, unsure, idly picking at one of the gems he took from her.

But he waaaaants everything ever]

[sees what he's picking at ...]

Oh, come now, you must have hundreds of these hoarded up somewhere already, don't you?

[Growl. Yes but that's besides the point, he wants them ALL]

[hmmm ...]

Would it make you happy if I gave you these, then?

[the gems, that is]

[He seems very much DELIGHTED about that. Yes, loud unicorn thing, yes they would!]

Will you let me down if I give them to you?

[Considerinnnng.

Nodding]

Good!

[she'll use her magic to pluck the gems off of her outfit ... SOB, and hold them up for him to see]

Now, set me down, and I shall hand them to you.

[Spike would much rather just take them, but the thought he can just...do that doesn't occur to him, so he carefully sets her down, looking at her expectantly]

[very good, spike! :D she will lower the gems into his hand now]

[He holds the gems, looking SO VERY CONFLICTED about all of this.

Backing away. Pony you make him feel strange things, what is that witchcraft?]

Good! [tosses her hair again, before glancing up at him] Now, do behave yourself! I don't want to hear anything about you causing trouble, understand?

[He gives a whiney growl. Before carefully nodding his giant head.
